A documentary about a guy who pieces together Vivian Maier’s story after uncovering tens of thousands of her amazing photo negatives of candid street life that never got to see the light of day until after she passed away.
A lot of the photos featured in the movie were brilliant.

Very solid line-up this year! I haven’t had much luck on a good film this year so I’m looking forward to potentially breaking this dry-spell. Aside from my usual penchant for their short film program, we have: living off the grid, the history of teenagers, Slint, Arabs in America, weird Japanese shit and the search for the little Filipino 007.

This one was hitting a bit too close to home – living with a terribly packed garage warehouse, running off the adrenaline of the one-hit wonder and the reality of how unglamorous it all is.
